Abstract   The treatment results for 35 patients with neuroblastoma seen at the Yonsei Cancer Center from 1986 to 1990 were analyzed. Patients were treated with a combination of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy depending on stage and age. The distribution of patients according to Evans staging system were 3, 2, 12, 17 cases of Stage I, II, III and IV,respectively. Two-year-survival rate of Stage III was 41.3% and Stage IV 19.196. Stage IV disease, a group for which currently available therapy cures only a small proportion of patients. We conclude that early diagnosis and better approaches will be necessary to cure more neuroblastoma patients with Stage IV disease.
